Warranties and Returns

Unless it is explicitly stated that the material is new, the customer is aware that the material sold by JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. is a second-hand, recovered, prepared, and checked replacement part for proper use and operation.

All parts sold by JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. have a warranty of 1 to 24 months depending on the type of part, as indicated on the delivery note or invoice. (See exceptions at the end of this section) If the warranty of a part includes a mileage limit, Recomotor will verify whether the part is still under warranty by comparing the kilometers recorded on the installation invoice with the current vehicle mileage at the time of the claim. Due to the uniqueness of the parts, installation must be carried out in an authorized workshop, supported by the corresponding invoice. JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. CANNOT certify that the kilometers shown on the donor vehicle's odometer correspond to the kilometers of the extracted part, as it is impossible to know if the vehicle owner previously replaced the part or modified the odometer reading. Articles sold by JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. are properly marked with seals, stamps, and engravings to ensure correct traceability of the product. Breaking these seals voids the warranty and return. unless it prevents performing a necessary operation to use the warranty and the breakage is justified . The following situations are also excluded from this warranty: manipulated parts without the consent of JG RECOMOTOR, S.L., parts used in a manner not recommended or specified, parts damaged during installation or due to incorrect handling, transport damages not reported within 24 hours of receipt. The invoice or delivery note serves as proof for any claim with JG RECOMOTOR, S.L., and must be kept by the customer.

In the case of engines: It must be understood that it is impossible to know exactly what maintenance operations have been carried out on the engine and whether they were done according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Therefore, a complete timing kit, water pump, thermostat, oil, coolant, oil cooler, and oil, fuel, and air filters recommended by the manufacturer must be installed to maintain warranty coverage. Tensioners, rollers, guides, chains, or belts involved in correct engine timing must also be replaced. For Porsche engines that require it, installing a new IMS kit is mandatory. The warranty does not cover any engine accessories such as pumps, injectors, turbos, pulleys, connectors, mounts, manifolds, or hoses.

In the case of gearboxes both manual and automatic, it is impossible to know exactly what maintenance operations have been performed and whether they were done according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Therefore, the oil must be replaced, and for automatic gearboxes, filters as well. Proof of professional installation and replaced parts must be provided to maintain warranty coverage. Tyres, brake pads, brake discs, bulbs, and wipers are not covered by any warranty due to their nature.

We cannot offer a warranty on control units and parts with electrical components , as once installed, they may become unusable if the cause of the short circuit has not been resolved. The warranty does not cover labor or damages/defects caused by product failure under any circumstances.

Return or Withdrawal Conditions

JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. offers a maximum return period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt if the customer is not completely satisfied with the purchase. If an equivalent part is available, it will be exchanged; otherwise, a credit will be issued, except for electrical parts. The product must not be tampered with. Returns of electrical parts are only accepted if JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. supplied a wrong reference. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

For any dispute arising from the interpretation or fulfillment of this document, the parties, expressly waiving any jurisdiction that may apply, submit to the Courts of Lleida.

Delivery Times

JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. works with various transport companies, which have delivery times between 24h and 72h. JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. is not responsible for possible delays caused by the transport company, as this is an external service.

Transport Damages

The customer must ensure upon receipt that the package is in good external condition. If damaged, the shipment must be rejected, and the incident recorded on the delivery note or notified to JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. within 24 hours. Photos of the package and the part are necessary to process a claim with the transport company.

Material Reservation and Deposit

When JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. provides a quote to a customer, the material is automatically reserved for 48 hours to allow payment. If the material becomes unusable or cannot be sold during this period, JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. reserves the right to sell the material and will refund the payment within 72 hours if payment has already been made. The deposit for any replacement part is non-refundable if the customer decides not to proceed with the purchase. JG RECOMOTOR, S.L. issues a document showing the deposit amount, reserved material, and final payment deadline. The deposit amount will be deducted from the total invoice.
